          ABSTRACT

The investigation is framed in the study violence against women in Peru: analysis and
challenges, describes that in Peru the index is quite high, violence against women, feminicidio

responds to a situation of violence, dependence, ignorance of rights; among others. For
women in the world, violence is one of the main causes of injury, disability, a risk factor for
other physical, mental, sexual and reproductive health problems; Violence has long-term

consequences for these women and their children, as well as social and economic costs for the
          whole society.

However, we must highlight international agreements, including the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights and, the Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women,

recognized the fundamental human right of women to live a life free of violence. The United
Nations defines as any act that produces or will produce damage to the physical, sexual or
mental health of women. In many legal systems, social norms continue to tolerate men using

violence against women in many circumstances. Given the problem, the solution is proposed
through the formulation of the hypothesis: The health status of women victims of violence in
Peru can evolve over time, leading to an improvement or a worsening
